Starting from very beginning they were extremely professional and flexible, considering we were a difficult client, since our hours changed so many times. They were willing to work with us and gave us the best price on the market. More than that, we were offered to use their state of art "Monitor Center". Our event was outdoors and this center worked amazing as an office with AC, where you can comfortably work and watch what was going on outside the monitors with multiple angles, allowing you to see every hidden spot of your venue. During our first opening weekend we had a little emergency, someone cut their finger, and we couldn't find our first aid kit. Everything we needed was in the center and we could borrow it. It was a life saver at the moment. Also special thank you to the great team, John, Nicole and Ruth, that were available day and night, kept us updated and were at the highest level of professionalism always. We had an immediate need to for a fire watch to fill a void from our fire alarm panel that had been hit by lightening. This was to keep my teams safe and provide the required watch per the Fire Marshall. I made the call to Onyx and within 1 1/2 hours I had a certified class D security guard on site. They worked with me to get payment setup and covered us on an agreement in the meantime. They were quickly responsive to any schedule changes to the plant 24/7 and I never had a gap in coverage. Their rates are competitive. Their teams are very professional, and they take their work very seriously. They maintained a fire watch log like clockwork and our records were solid for 2 fire Marshall audits. Although their task for us was to fire watch, anytime something was perceived as out of place or a potential security issue, I would get a phone call to verify. Their management team was very involved, and they took our business personally. I would recommend Onyx Protective services to anyone! read less

This security company patrols our Plaza and other than the occasional hi and bye when I come into work as I see the guard, I never really interact with him. However, the other day my car wouldn't start, the officer saw me standing outside my car as I called my husband who was stuck at work, and the officer drove over. He stayed with me and helped troubleshoot what might be the problem, dead battery. He went back to his car, got some kind of portable jumpstarter and got my car running. I asked him how he knew I needed help and he said my routine was different than normal. He pays attention to details and watches everyone. I was impressed and even more impressed with the security manager that came out to meet him while we talked. Onyx gets 5 stars from me. I'm glad you guys patrol our area. Keep up the good work. read less
